Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation
The Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation was established in 1984 with the purpose of serving as the fundraising arm for Nathan Adelson Hospice.
As Southern Nevada's largest non-profit hospice program, the Foundation relies on the support and generosity of individuals and corporate partners to ensure that quality care and compassionate support are always available to medically appropriate patients, and families, regardless of access to insurance, or ability to pay.
Each year because of the generosity of the community, Nathan Adelson Hospice provides over $1 million in uncompensated care. We never turn anyone away who requests hospice care regardless of their ability to pay.
Special programs and services that go beyond the scope of hospice care are also made possible by funding to the Foundation and are available to all patients and their families. Bereavement and Spiritual support, bereavement support groups, the Elaine Wynn Palliative Care Program, Camp Mariposa - a camp for children who have experienced a loss, and a full range of complementary therapies available through the Bonnie Schreck Memorial Complementary Therapy Program, are just a few of the special services that are provided.
Your generosity makes it possible for all patients to live their final days, managing their pain and symptoms in the comforting circle of support provided by family, friends and the Nathan Adelson Hospice staff and volunteers.
Donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation in the form of commemorative gifts, outright donations, planned gifts, event participation or in-kind donations as well as volunteer hours are the various ways to help our patients and their families.
