Camp Mariposa

Camp Mariposa is an annual bereavement camp for children and teens in the greater Las Vegas area that have suffered the loss of a loved one. This is a very special time of fun and support for children and allows them to be around other children their age who have suffered similar loss. Children participate in arts and crafts, recreational activities, story telling, music, and games. Activities are structured in creative ways, which provide them with an outlet to talk about their loss and the opportunity to learn new skills and attitudes for coping with the loss. The camp is free of charge and is located at Torino Ranch in Lovell Canyon, Las Vegas, NV. For more information and to request an application, please call (702) 796-3167.
