Caleen Johnson, CFRE, serves as the Executive Director of the Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation. Ms. Johnson is a seasoned and passionate leader, able to inspire organizations to achieve and surpass their goals. She is well known for her ability to cultivate lasting relationships with donors, business and community leaders, internal colleagues, volunteers, and board members.
Ms. Johnson is responsible for designing and implementing the Foundation’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, including fundraising events, marketing initiatives, planned giving, annual appeals, stewardship, and donor engagement.
Caleen Johnson has an impressive record of accomplishment and community service. Over the last two decades, she successfully conceptualized, implemented, and managed major gifts programs which have resulted in significant donations from private individuals, corporations, and foundations – all benefiting the communities in and around Las Vegas.
Most recently, Ms. Johnson served as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation, where she was responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of UNLV’s corporate and foundation fundraising efforts.
Previously in Nevada, Ms. Johnson had a thriving consulting practice, served as Executive Director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada, was the Director of Major Gifts for the American Cancer Society, and held the position of Director of Development for The Nature Conservancy.
Ms. Johnson is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and holds a Master’s degree from George Mason University.
