What We Do

Inpatient Facilities

We have two locations in the Las Vegas Valley where we provide inpatient care.

Our Swenson inpatient facility has 20 beds and our Tenaya inpatient facility has 18 beds. Built in 1983 the Swenson facility is a national model for other inpatient hospice facilities throughout the United States.

Inside your own home with your family and loved ones at your bedside.

The ability to choose where to spend one’s final days is so important! It is comforting to be in a familiar environment, surrounded by the people and things you love.

Nathan Adelson Hospice is part of The National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation’s (NPHI) cross-industry, Advanced Cardiac Care Program.

Center for Compassionate Care (CCC) – The CCC is the counseling arm of Nathan Adelson Hospice, meeting the emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.

Established in 2002, under the auspices of Nathan Adelson Hospice, the Center for Compassionate Care was founded in response to a need for emotional and spiritual support in our in community. The Center for Compassionate Care is a separate legal entity with its own 501(c)(3).

Bonnie Schreck, a dedicated wife, mother and community volunteer, passed away in February 1999 and in loving memory, her husband established a fund to keep her memory alive.

Care. Where You Need It.

Nathan Adelson Hospice is the oldest, largest and only nonprofit hospice in Southern Nevada. Over the last 40 years, we’ve cared for over 75,000 patients and families. During those many years, we’ve become intimately involved in the lives of people who are seeking skilled and compassionate care.
