Are you a Nathan Adelson Hospice VOLUNTEER or Community Member?

There may come a time when you are unable to decide or tell someone what you want with regards to your healthcare. You have the opportunity now to make some decisions ahead of time. You can tell your family, friends and healthcare providers in writing about the kind of care you would want if you could not speak for yourself. This is done through an Advance Directive. You have a say in the healthcare you receive. When you are ill, your doctor should explain what treatments there are for your illness so that you can decide which one is best for you. But if you were too ill to understand your treatment choices or to tell your provider what treatment you want:

  • Who would you want to make decisions for you?
  • What type of healthcare would you want?
  • What healthcare wouldn't you want?

Deciding Tomorrow…Today is a program developed by Nathan Adelson Hospice to help facilitate important conversations about healthcare values and priorities among individuals, family members, friends and healthcare providers. Working in hospice, we know how important those conversations and written instructions are. Let us assist you in getting your Advance Directives in order.
